VIDEO and PHOTOS: Preview into Tonight’s ‘The Flash,’ Season 1, Episode 19, “Who is Harrison Wells?”

April 21, 2015 By T.J. Leave a Comment

Season 1 of The Flash is wrapping up and the questions on everyone’s mind are, who is Eobard Thawne and why did he take over Harrison Wells life? And tonight on a NEW episode of The Flash airing on The CW at 8/7c we might just find out.

Last week on The Flash, season 1, episode 18, “All Star Team Up,” we were blessed with a crossover episode where Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) and Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) came to Central City. They came to seek help from the S.T.A.R. Labs team in making some adjustments to Ray’s ATOM suit. Little did they know that shortly after their arrival, they would be assisting The Flash (Grant Gustin) and team go up against DC Comics canon villain Bug-Eyed Bandit. However, for the TV series the Bug-Eyed Bandit has been brilliantly turned on his head, and he is now a she called Brie Larvin, portrayed by The Walking Dead alum Emily Kinney.

The Bug-Eyed Bandit was killing her former co-workers and those she felt that were a threat to her with electronic bees—AWESOME and GROSS! In the end, the ATOM and The Flash needed to work together to take her down while at the same time rescue Dr. Tina McGee (Amanda Pays). They were successful, but the juicy bits happened all prior to the rescue. Barry’s suspicions of Dr. Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) were at their utmost and shared his concerns with Felicity. Who in turn encouraged Barry to ask for Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and Caitlin’s (Danielle Panabaker) help to see if Dr. Harrison Wells is truly the Reverse Flash. Also, life has become extra-rocky in Eddie (Rick Cosnett) and Iris’ (Candice Patton) relationship. Iris tired of Eddie not telling her his secret gave him an ultimatum; tell her what he was hiding or she is moving out. Eddie kept his mouth shut and Iris moved home.

“All Star Team Up” ended with Barry, Eddie, and Joe (Jesse L. Martin) letting Caitlin and Cisco in on their suspicions, but the plot explosion erupted when Cisco let everyone in on the dreams he thinks are actually memories of him knowing that Dr. Wells is Reverse Flash and that Dr. Wells killed him. *DED*

Now up on The Flash, season 1, episode 19, “Who is Harrison Wells?” we get another crossover episode. This time:

Joe and Cisco head to Starling City to continue their investigation of Dr. Wells. While in town, the duo enlists the help of Captain Lance (guest star Paul Blackthorne), and Cisco meets the Black Canary (guest star Katie Cassidy), who asks him for a favor. Meanwhile, back in Central City, Barry races to catch a meta-human named Hannibal Bates/Everyman (guest star Martin Novotny) who can transform himself into every person he touches — which includes Eddie, Iris, Caitlin and even The Flash. (via The CW Press Site)

“Who is Harrison Wells?” was directed by Wendey Stanzler and written by Ray Utarnachitt and Cortney Norris.

Now let’s get a preview into tonight’s episode. Executive Producer, Andrew Kreisberg takes us inside The Flash, “Who is Harrison Wells?” explaining why Joe and Cisco head to Starling City and a little bit about meta-human Everyman.
