Let’s dig into our pockets and help the Facebook Group ThePeakPosse support World Child Cancer, actress Caitriona Balfe’s supported charity.
I’m a big fan of individuals who band together to support a worthy cause and due to this my next Saturday Shout-out goes to ThePeakPosse and their goal to raise a considerable amount of money for a worthy cause. ThePeakPosse is a Facebook Group comprised of women who have come together for a common goal, to get healthy, motivated and to encourage each other.
ThePeakPosse is currently creating an amazing Gift Basket in support of World Child Cancer, actress Caitriona Balfe’s supported charity. Before Caitriona Balfe became a household name due to her role as Claire Randall on Outlander, she was in films Escape Plan and Now You See Me. But throughout her career she has supported many charitable causes. Like Caitriona, ThePeakPosse has done their fair share of bringing awareness to notable causes. Their last gift basket was in support of Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research and they were able to raise over 25K for this charity and hope to raise a comparable amount for World Child Cancer. And they can only do this with help from us.

Plus your donations can go a bit further than the dollar amount you pledge. Donations are being generously matched by Macquarie, the employer of Heather Lee Ying (a ThePeakPosse lassie). If you have previously donated to the site, at your earliest convenience, please adjust your donation message to include the matching statement. The raffle runs from 4/1/15 through 8pm ET 5/31/15.
The winner will be announced at 8:30pm ET.
To help encourage folks to donate and to make it fun EVERY TUESDAY during the raffle is #TenDollarTuesday.
All you need to do is:
1. Donate a minimum of $10.00 on the donation page.
2. Guess a number from 1-200.
3. In the donation description include your Twitter name, #TenDollarTuesday and your best guess (number).
