As season 1 of The Flash closes out on The CW we will be blessed with the remaining six episodes running straight through for six weeks. That’s right, no hiatus for the remainder of the season. Are you ready for the goodness?! I know, I am.
Nothing had come close to how great The Flash was as a comic book-to-TV series adaptation, up until another adaptation recently aired on Netflix. Now as we enter the final stretch we are getting another crossover episode between The Flash and Arrow. Tonight on “All Star Team Up,” Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) and Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) are coming to Central City. Plus we are tapping into more DC Comics villain history, but with a twist. The Walking Dead alum Emily Kinney guest stars as Brie Larvin/Bug-Eyed Bandit. We are getting a makeover on Bug-Eyed Bandit and I’m happy about it.
In The Flash, season 1, episode 18: “All Star Team Up”
Barry (Grant Gustin) is surprised when Felicity Smoak arrives from Starling City along with her boyfriend, Ray Palmer, who flies in as the Atom. They’ve come to visit S.T.A.R. Labs as Ray needs help with his suit. Their timing turns out to be fortuitous because it’s all hands on deck after a meta human named Brie Larvin unleashes hundreds of robotic bees to attack and kill her former co-workers, including Dr. Tina McGee (Amanda Pays). A group dinner with Barry, Felicity, Ray, Iris (Candice Patton) and Eddie (Rick Cosnett) turns into a disaster. (via The CW Press)
