VIDEO: Synopsis & Preview of Tonight’s ‘Revenge’ Season 4, Episode 19 “Exposure”

April 12, 2015 By Funmbi 4 Comments

Emily/Amanda’s secret may be out, but does this mean she’s done with her revenge? Preview tonight’s Revenge “Exposure”, airing at 10:00pm ET|PT on ABC.

The last time we were in the Hamptons, Emily deeply felt the burden of all her lies and last week, she made a decision that would have wide ramifications.

“Clarity” began with Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) and Margaux (Karine Vanasse) still dealing with the loss of the baby. More than ever, they wanted to make sure the Daniel Grayson research wing happened. It was all they’d have left of him. Victoria wanted to go to the police with the information that Emily (Emily VanCamp) had pushed Margaux in front of the taxi…unsurprisingly, Margaux wanted to keep this quiet (since it wasn’t TRUE!). Actually, Margaux felt guilty—she confessed to Victoria that Lyman Ellis likely died while trying to get Nolan’s files for her. She wanted to end her quest for revenge before anyone else was hurt.

Emily was also feeling guilty about Margaux. She wanted to reach out, but unsure what to say. David (James Tupper) was worried about his daughter, but she seemed to be taking things in stride. Emily’s relationship with Ben (Brian Hallisay) was still going well, and they made plans to celebrate his recent promotion to detective with his brother (meeting the family!).

Later on, during a meeting, the hospital board decided to revoke their plan to name the new research wing after Daniel, even though Emily pushed them to reconsider. Victoria didn’t think it was enough. Emily had blood on her hands, and it was time for her to tell the truth. Victoria went to Ben (in the men’s room) to issue a threat. Unless he provided her with the Lyman Ellis police report, she’d tell the police chief about Ben helping Emily in her cover-ups. Victoria was clearly suspicious about the circumstances of Lyman’s death.

Elsewhere, Emily was determined to make things right…she now realized that Margaux told Victoria she pushed her in front of the taxi in response to Emily’s larger deceptions. So Emily would tell the “truth” in front of all the press at the research wing ground-breaking—that Daniel died trying to protect her from Malcolm Black. Jack (Nick Wechsler) wasn’t so sure that this was the best thing to do…and neither was Stevie. Stevie (Gail O’Grady) was vehement that Emily stay away from Jack. He ultimately decided that he couldn’t help Emily, for Carl’s sake, but her own sake too.

There seemed to be trouble in paradise for Nolan (Gabriel Mann) and Louise (Elena Satine). She had just returned from Lyman’s funeral and was agitated. But now Louise wanted to be even closer Nolan and have a child together. Nolan was taken aback, but at least promised to think about it. Besides, Nolan had other interests, particularly a growing relationship with the social worker (Tony Hughes, Josh Pence). Was Nolan really free to pursue things with Tony? He reached out to Jack for advice about dealing with Louise. Things were getting complicated, but she was fragile. Jack encouraged Nolan to tell his wife the truth.

Victoria went to see Louise to commiserate over their shared losses. But Louise was suspicious; she knew Victoria was there for Nolan’s flash-drive. Victoria tried to convince her that Nolan and Emily were keeping secrets and weren’t worthy of her loyalty, but Louise disagreed. That evening, she tried to reach out to Nolan, but he was MIA, partying it up with Tony, and he was not truthful with Louise (OOPS).

Louise knew Nolan was keeping secrets…she had seen pictures of Nolan with Tony (though she didn’t tell him). Louise also overheard a conversation Nolan had with Jack about pitying her and not wanting a family with an unstable person. That night, she asked Nolan for a divorce. It seemed that they were parting on good terms, though we know better.

And ultimately, after conversations with Nolan and Ben, Emily realized that the only way to really move forward was to confess her identity. So with Jack by her side, she went to the groundbreaking, got on stage in front of the press, and said that Daniel saved her from Malcolm Black. Furthermore, confessed hat she was Amanda Clarke.

In other developments: Margaux seemed to be really done with getting revenge on Emily. Her henchman tried to convince her to bring in White Gold (played by guest-star Courtney Love), a hit-woman, to take Emily out. However, Margaux met with her to cancel the job…though it seemed that Ms. Gold would be staying around in the Hamptons.

In tonight’s episode “Exposure,” written by Wilson Pollock and Andrew Steier and directed by Jennifer Wilkinson:

EMILY’S SHOCKING DECLARATION THREATENS EVERYTHING SHE HAS ACCOMPLISHED—Emily faces a promising future as Amanda Clarke until Victoria uncovers devastating new secrets from her past. (via ABC)

Watch a sneak peek from the upcoming show: Nolan reveals that Victoria has all his computer files (thanks Louise!) and Emily/Amanda is not all happy with him:

Aww, man! I feel so bad for Nolan. Team Nemily accomplished a lot in their time together…I can’t blame him for wanting to keep a few mementos. But those six files might end up getting them in a lot of trouble. *sigh* Nolan seriously underestimated (or maybe overestimated) Louise’s character!

The truth is out, but the revenge is hardly over! Remember to tune into ABC at 10:00pm ET|PT for “Exposure” and come live tweet with me while we watch the new Revenge.

The secret is out, but the #Revenge isn’t over. Don’t miss an all-new episode Sunday on ABC! https://t.co/NetJDn3DpX
