VIDEO: Sneak Peek into Tonight’s ‘The Flash’ Season 1, Episode 15: “Out of Time”

March 17, 2015 By T.J.

The Flash is back from its month hiatus! Get your sneak peek into tonight’s episode “Out of Time” airing on The CW at 8/7c.

On “Fallout,” the previous episode of The Flash that aired on Tuesday, February 17, 2015, we see that the attempt to separate Ronnie Raymond (Robbie Amell) and Dr. Martin Stein (Victor Garber) was successful. Even though the task caused a nuclear explosion that Barry/The Flash (Grant Gustin) and Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) barely escaped from. When Barry and Caitlin settle outside of the explosion they come to realize that they weren’t exposed to radiation and return to the site to see both Ronnie and Dr. Stein separate and apparently unharmed.

Both men are taking back to S.T.A.R. Labs to undergo testing. Even thought Ronnie and Dr. Stein shared a body for some time, their time together hasn’t been filled with joy. In attempt to keep tempers at bay the men are given a time-out with their respective partners; Ronnie with Caitlin and Dr. Stein with his wife. Meanwhile, Joe (Jesse L. Martin) informs Barry that Cisco (Carlos Valdes) was able to digitally recreate the night of his mother’s murder. And he was able to ascertain that the blood left from the crime scene is actually Barry’s. Not only was Barry able to see the death of his mother again, he learns that it’s possible the flashing red man going up against the flashing yellow man was actually him. Later, Barry learns from Dr. Stein that time-travel is truly possible and Barry comes to the realization that he will fail to save his mother.

One would hope the best for Ronnie and Dr. Stein since their bodies are separate again they could get on with their lives. However, that is not the case. General Wade Eiling (Clancy Brown) wants the F.I.R.E.S.T.O.R.M. technology and will do anything to get it. Eiling kidnaps Dr. Stein and even though Robbie and The Flash are able to rescue him, the men in the end willingly agree to combine and become Firestorm to help ensure The Flash’s safety and to fight off the military. When Firestorm returns to S.T.A.R. Labs they are able to separate the men again, but the duo go on a road trip to Pittsburgh to see a colleague who can help them with their abilities.

Now we return from a month-long hiatus of The Flash with Season 1, Episode 15: “Out of Time,” that guest stars Liam McIntyre as Mark Mardon/Weather Wizard, Malese Jow as Linda Park, and Chad Rook as Clyde Mardon. “Out of Time,” was directed Thor Freudenthal and written by Todd Helbing and Aaron Helbing. In The Flash, “Out of Time”:

Cisco realizes Dr. Wells (Tom Cavanagh) is hiding something! — Mark Mardon aka The Weather Wizard appears in Central City intent on avenging his brother Clyde’s death, and sets his sights on Joe, who shot Clyde. When Mardon attacks Joe and Barry, Barry is able to super-speed them to safety but Mardon gets away. Barry warns Joe not to go after a meta-human alone but Joe doesn’t listen and ends up in grave danger. Meanwhile, Cisco looks into the night the team captured the Reverse Flash and realizes something doesn’t add up and begins to wonder whether Joe was right about Dr. Wells. Barry and Linda end up on an awkward double date with Eddie (Rick Cosnett) and Iris (Candice Patton). (via The CW Press)

Seeing Liam McIntyre of Spartacus and The Legend of Hercules in the role of The Weather Wizard is exciting, but to know that Barry and Linda and Iris and Eddie are going on a double date makes me think this will make for some laughs for the viewing audience. Or at the very least, for a few awkward moments!

Now let’s get more of a sneak peek into “Out of Time,” with some videos! Executive Producer Andrew Kreisberg takes inside the episode in the first below video and introduces us to Mark Mardon aka The Weather Wizard. We see that Mark is out for vengeance and his eyes are set on Joe. In the next video, we have a clip from tonight’s episode where we see Mardon wielding his meta-human power.

And no sneak peek would be complete without a few promotional images from the episode.
