STARZ shares 30 new images from Outlander Season 1B. Get a preview of the upcoming 8 episodes and a glimpse at behind-the-scenes filming.
The last “4 Droughtlander” might have been last week, but STARZ has no intention of letting the last three weeks before Outlander‘s return go without new goodies! In addition to the new Season 1B key art with Claire (Caitriona Balfe), Jamie (Sam Heughan), and Black Jack (Tobias Menzies), STARZ just released about 30 new images from the upcoming eight episodes!
*SPOILER ALERT*
The first set of photos (below) are stills, which give us a first look at the Duke of Sandringham (Simon Callow) at Castle Leoch; Jamie and Claire at Lallybroch; Claire, Jenny (Laura Donnelly), and Murtagh (Duncan Lacroix) searching for a missing Jamie; Black Jack at Wentworth Prison, and much more.
The second set of images are behind-the-scenes photos that give a glimpse into filming the second half of Outlander‘s first season. Check them out!
As expected, these photos have me VERY excited, but nervous too.
Some of the images look familiar—they were released earlier this year during Outlander‘s Television Critics Association panel. But I still think it’s great to see them, especially when we have a broader context from the other photos! The Duke of Sandringham creeps me out…as does seeing BJR at Wentworth Prison *shivers* But I really like seeing Jamie and Claire together 🙂
I’ll just be over here binge-watching my Outlander Season 1, Volume 1 blu-ray (and all the awesome special features) and listening to Outlander Original Television Soundtrack, Vol. 1 on repeat. How will you be spending the next three weeks until Outlander returns?
