VIDEO: Sneek Peek into Tonight’s ‘Arrow’ Season 3, Episode 11, “Midnight City”

January 28, 2015 By T.J. Leave a Comment

Black Canary is the new vigilante in Starling City. Get a sneak peek into tonight’s episode of Arrow airing on The CW at 8 PM (ET/PT).

Last week on Arrow, season 3, episode 10, “Left Behind” we found out that Oliver/Arrow (Stephen Amell) was alive and in Matseo (Karl Yune) and Tatsu’s (Rila Fukushima) care. Ollie might be alive, but his team is crumbling under the news of his death delivered by Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman). Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) was having the most trouble visually and took out some her emotions on Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) that caused him to put her and her feels in their place.

Seeing the team struggle with the news and the lack of Oliver being in Starling City was difficult to watch. The team was trying to take on the task of keeping the city safe and from those that failed it, but were unsuccessful. Diggle (David Ramsey) donned the Arrow costume and it was lovely to see. I’ll be the first to sign any petition and/or plea to get Diggle suited up with a mask, especially since Diggle is a family man.

New to Starling City is a villain and a vigilante. Let’s start with the villain, Vinnie Jones guest stars in a 3-episode story arc as Danny ‘Brick’ Brickwell. Brick is a badass and is assuming all kinds of power in Arrow’s absence. The vigilante is Black Canary; Laurel (Katie Cassidy) finally fully suited up in her Black Canary costume and it was lovely to see.

Tonight on Arrow, season 3, episode 11, “Midnight City” which guest stars Paul Blackthorne as Quentin Lance, Matt Nable as Ra’s al Ghul, and Christina Cox as Mayor Celia Castle:

Arsenal and Diggle confront Laurel about trying to step into her sister’s shoes and warn her to stop before she gets herself killed. Meanwhile, Brick kidnaps the city’s aldermen and threatens to kill them unless the police evacuate the Glades; and Malcolm tells Thea that Ra’s al Ghul is after him and his family, and that they must leave town immediately. (via TV Guide)

Now let’s get a further sneak peek into “Midnight City” with the below videos. The first video we get an inside look into the episode with Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim. Marc discusses how Laurel hasn’t had as much training as her sister and the Arrow crew and how we will see her stumble (but hopefully rise to the challenge) in her task to be Black Canary. In the second video, we get a clip of Brick and his team breaking into the Mayor’s offices with kidnapping on their minds. However, Laurel, Ray, and Quentin have other plans for Brick’s team.

And let’s take one more look at Laurel as Black Canary.
