VIDEO: Synopsis & Sneak Peek of Sleepy Hollow Season 2 Episode 13, “Pittura Infamante”

January 19, 2015 By Funmbi Leave a Comment

Preview Sleepy Hollow Season 2, Episode 13 “Pittura Infamante” with video and photo sneak peeks. The new show airs on Mon., Jan. 19 at 9:00pm ET|PT on FOX.

Sleepy Hollow is back tonight with a new episode after a brief, post-Winter premiere break. Speaking of the mid-season premiere episode, it was great to see what Team Witness had been up to since Henry (John Noble) killed Moloch (Derek Mears). It seemed that Ichabod (Tom Mison)and Abbie (Nicole Beharie) had been having some downtime, and six weeks later, there were still no signs of an evil apocalypse.

Of course, the peace wouldn’t last, and after being saved from a group of demons by the Angel Orion (Max Brown), we discovered that, during the almost merging of Purgatory and Earth, several creatures (including a trapped Orion) escaped. Now that Moloch was dead, these demons were looking for a new leader in Abraham/Headless (Neil Jackson). Now, Orion planned to kill Headless and any other evil creatures.

What I enjoyed most about this episode was the seeing relationships emerge and change. I loved seeing Abbie find a kindred spirit in Angel Orion—-both warriors, determined to do what they thought was best. At the same time, we saw Ichabod and Katrina (Katia Winter) disagreeing about the best way to deal with Abraham and whether he could ever regain his humanity. And as a Jawley shipper, you know I loved seeing Jenny (Lyndie Greenwood) and a slightly jealous Hawley (Matt Barr) on screen together.

It turned out that Angel Orion was a bit more fanatical than we initially though and might have been responsible for a few (massive) historical catastrophes, like Pompeii. So, even though Ichabod and Abbie eventually sided with Headless, I’m glad that Orion survived, because this means we’ll likely see him again! And we can’t mention characters returning to Sleepy Hollow without talking about Captain Irving (Orlando Jones) showing up at the end! He looks to be alive and sort of well, but I guess only time will tell if Irving is really okay…

In tonight’s episode, “Pittura Infamante”:

The strange death of an art restorer at a party for the Sleepy Hollow Historical Society sparks Ichabod and Katrina’s memories of their old friend Abigail Adams. Meanwhile, the police precinct has a surprise visitor. (via TV Guide)

Take a look at these clips from the upcoming show. In the first, we see the art restorer working on an odd painting, which doesn’t end well for him. In the second clip, we see Ichabod struggling with the modern business-causal dress code (but he still looks really good!). And in the last two videos, we hear more about Katrina’s relationship with Abigail Adams (played by guest star Michelle Trachtenberg). And while discovering some of Abigail’s belongings, Katrina catches a glimpse of the man in that odd painting…:

*SHIVERS* How creepy! Check out these images from tonight’s new episode, and make sure to tune into FOX at 9:00pm ET|PT for the all new Sleepy Hollow. I’ll also be live tweeting during the episode, so make sure to join me!
