Here at We So Nerdy, we’re huge fans of Shonda Rhimes’ Thank God it’s Thursday. Every week, we gladly park on our couches for three hours of amazing (yet scandalous) television. But since Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, and How to Get Away with Murder went on hiatus back in November, we’ve definitely felt the loss, especially given the way each of the shows left things. Are Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and Derek (Patrick Dempsey) really splitting up? Where in the world is Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) and will she be ok? What are Annalise (Viola Davis) and Wes (Alfred Enoch) really up to, and will they really get away with Sam’s (Tom Verica) murder?
Well, Shondaland and ABC certainly understand the extent of out TGiT withdrawal, and made this tongue-in-cheek public service announcement featuring some of our fave TGiT actors. Matt McGorry (Asher Millstone), Jack Falahee (Connor Walsh), and Aja Naomi King (Michaela Pratt) from How to Get Away with Murder, Katie Lowes (Quinn Perkins) and Scott Foley (Jake Ballard) from Scandal, and Sara Ramirez (Callie Torres) and Kevin McKidd (Owen Hunt) from Grey’s Anatomy all get together to talk about the symptoms of TGiT withdrawal disorder and potential remedies. First, Matt McGorry is my spirit animal! Second, I’m definitely suffering from this condition, and if the cures are to drink delicious red wine from fabulous glasses, eat popcorn, and have dance parties, then I’m in!
