Claire takes on a Redcoat in TV Guide Magazine‘s photo sneak peek of Outlander Season 1B.
Happy 2015 Sassenachs! The countdown to Outlander‘s season 1B continues, and we’re now about four months away the April 4 return. STARZ‘s 25 Days of “Outlander Offerings” was a great way to bring a close to 2014, right? But, no worries, because all signs indicate that 2015 will continue to be filled with all sorts of Outlander goodies and sneak peeks. We’re days away from January’s “4 Droughtlander” (EEEEP!); however, if you need a little boost to hold you over until then, take a look at this photo sneak peek that TV Guide Magazine posted to their official Facebook page earlier this week:
Outlander fans, the show doesn’t return to STARZ until April 4, but we’ve got a first look at what’s coming up. Claire has been separated from Jamie and she must shake the Redcoats and fight her way back home. But which home will she choose? “There isn’t time for Clare to be reflective,” Caitriona Balfe says of her character. “When faced with self-preservation, you just deal with the situation at hand, and Claire is very capable of doing that.”

*SPOILER ALERT*
After Jamie (Sam Heughan) saves Claire from Black Jack Randall (Tobias Menzies), the only other times I think the two are separated is when Claire is being held for trial as a witch and when Jamie is captured by the Redcoats (outside Lallybroch) and Claire and Murtagh (Duncan Lacroix) go searching from him. This photo could potentially be during either of these plot developments.
