VIDEO: Holy, Genetic Dino! – ‘Jurassic World’ Trailer Debuts

November 26, 2014 By T.J. 2 Comments

Steven Spielberg just take all of my money, because I’m easily pleased and the Jurassic World trailer got me hooked at the mention of a genetically modified dinosaur.

As an early holiday treat we were blessed with the Jurassic Word trailer (see below) and my body wasn’t ready for the mention of a genetically altered dinosaur escaping and terrorizing the park guests on Isla Nublar. The flim Jurassic World is set

Twenty-two years after the events of Jurassic Park (1993), Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond. (via IMDb)

The Jurassic World trailer brought me so much joy even though it isn’t scientifically sound. Bryce Dallas Howard‘s hair cut is fierce and I’m sure I’ll cosplay her character Claire at some point. Chris Pratt as Owen looks very much like Indiana Jones and that gave me instant heart-eyes. And a parent making a joke about her children’s safety before arriving on an island filled with dinosaurs filled my dark heart with spectacular, evil glee.

Jurassic World will hit theaters June 12, 2015 and it stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins, and an honorable mention goes to BD Wong because he’s my favorite. Make sure to check in here for more updates about the film and follow the official Jurassic World Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts. And take time to check out the Jurassic World website, because the site is built around the premise of the park opening and the company (Masrani) behind the park and not just the film itself.

Discuss in the comments what you thought about the Jurassic World trailer.
