I feel like I begin each Jane The Virgin preview post by saying how much I love Jane (Gina Rodriguez) and how torn I am between shipping her with Michael (Brett Dier) or Rafael (Justin Baldoni). Well, this post won’t be any different! And especially with the way last week’s episode ended with Jane formally breaking her engagement with Michael and having a fairytale/telenovela romantic kiss with Rafael, you know the drama is just getting started.
I did enjoy seeing how Jane and Michael met–I can’t believe it was her 21st birthday and she thought Officer (Michael) Cordero was a stripper! It was love at first sight, but it seems that Jane might have found another true love in Rafael. I’ve said it before, it’s clear that Michael is 100% in love with Jane and she feels the same. But there’s something about Rafael that makes Jane loosen up and take life for what it is. *sigh* See! I’m so torn! What did you think of ‘Chapter Six’?
In tonight’s episode ‘Chapter Seven’:
Jane plans to avoid Rafael, but she winds up at his club. Meanwhile, Petra makes things challenging for Rafael; and Rogelio suggests that he and Xo invite their dinner guests on a double date. (via TV Guide)

I really don’t think Rogelio and Xo’s (Andrea Navedo) double date is going to go well for the other people coming! These two are totally drawn to each other and I don’t see how their dates won’t see that. And of course, I appreciate Jane wanting to slow things down with Rafael, but I doubt he’ll make it easy for her.
In these three clips, we see that Michael isn’t taking the break-up too well and Jane is trying to balance her feelings for Rafael with wanting to avoid hurting Michael even more:
Rogelio is so hilarious! I love that he wants to protect Jane by being tough on Rafael.
