Watch your backs Bruce and Selina, assassins are afoot on Gotham, season 1, episode 10 “LoveCraft” airing tonight on FOX at 8 PM ET/PT.
Last week on Gotham, season 1, episode 9, “Harvey Dent” we meet Gotham’s District Attorney, Harvey Dent (Nicholas D’Agosto). We get our first interaction with him as he plays the game of faith and “chance” (using a same two-sided coin) with a young man he wants to get back on track. Harvey and James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) secretly team up in the hopes of taking done the criminals in Gotham and more importantly the person and people responsible for Bruce Wayne’s (David Mazouz) parents death. In doing so, Gordon relies on Alfred Pennyworth (Sean Pertwe) and Bruce to take Selina Kyle / Cat (Camren Bicondova) in, to protect her while Dent can come up with a case so she can testify to who she saw murder the Wayne’s.
Oswald Cobblepot (Robin Lord Taylor) continues to make his moves up the ranks and approaches Fish Mooney’s (Jada Pinkett Smith) protegé, Liza (Makenzie Leigh) and convinces her if she wants to stay alive she better keep him informed on everything Fish asks her to do. The highlights of the episode 109 were all the cute interactions between Bruce and Selina. The young woman doesn’t hold her tongue and this budding young romance makes the Gotham origin story of Batman interesting. The shocker of the episode was the last scene where we see Barbara Kean (Erin Richards) in bed with her former girlfriend Detective Renee Montoya (Victoria Cartagena).
Now up is Gotham, season 1, episode 10, “LoveCraft,” which guest stars Al Sapienza as Dick Lovecraft, Lesley-Ann Brandt as Cooperhead, as Clare Foley as Ivy Pepper, and Drew Powell as Butch Gilzean. On “LoveCraft,”
Gordon is reassigned to duty at Arkham Asylum, following a misstep. Meanwhile, Selina takes a new friend on a dangerous journey through Gotham to evade some assassins who are trying to kill her. (via TV Guide)
In the sneak peek videos for “LoveCraft” we see in the first clip Alfred being kind to a woman and in the end is duped and madness ensues. Next up, Alfred and James need to let Harvey in on the secret that Selina saw the killer who murder Bruce Wayne’s parents and now assassins are after them. In the third clip, James finds out that the secret alliance he entered into with Harvey Dent wasn’t so secret after all. In the fourth clip, Ivy Pepper is back! In the attempt, to hide out from the assassins Selina takes Bruce underground and they end up having an awkward encounter with Ivy. And in the final clip, Carmine Falcone (John Doman) suspects there is a mole in his organization and he has a heated exchange with Oswald Cobblepot to find out who it is.
