Get a sneak peek of tonight’s Grey’s Anatomy season 11, episode 7, “Could We Start Again, Please?” airing at 8:00pmET on ABC.
I enjoyed last week’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy for several reasons. First, I liked being able to spend some quality time with my Jackspril/Japril ship. It was so sweet to see Jackson (Jesse Williams) and April (Sarah Drew) bond over their pregnancy. I was also really shocked by April’s reaction to her mom visiting,especially since Mama Kepner (Connie Ray) seemed adorable to me! But I’m glad that April and her mom were able to resolve their differences and baby Kepner prep is back on track!
I also loved seeing Derek (Patrick Dempsey) encourage Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) to bring Maggie (Kelly McCreary) into the Grey-Shepherd family fold. When Derek said that he needs Maggie to be in the family because he’s running out of ways to braid Zola’s (Heaven White) hair and Bailey (Chandra Wilson) won’t teach him anymore…I DIED of laughter. I just have this image in my head of Derek struggling with Zola’s hair and Bailey standing in the background with her signature look of disapproval.
I’m pleased that Der and Mer were able to work out some of the disagreement with them…granted they almost missed dinner because of it, but showers are important 😉 I’m also glad that Maggie and Richard were able to talk a little bit. Even though Maggie didn’t end up embracing Richard (James Pickens Jr.), he was able to express his regret and apologize, which I think is an important step.

In these sneak peeks from the show, we see that while Jo (Camilla Luddington) is prepping for her first solo surgery, things are about to get really difficult for Amelia (Caterina Scorsone):
So we’ve known that Amelia is in AA/NA with Richard, and I’ve actually been hoping that her new friendship with Maggie could help her come to terms with her birth father. But they way Amelia’s secrets have just been exposed…and you can already see the disapproval on Derek’s face.
