Get a sneak peek into Arrow, Season 3, Episode 6, “Guilty” airing tonight on the CW at 8/7c.
Last week on Arrow season 3, episode 5, “The Secret Origin of Felicity Smoak” we got to see a bit of the back story of Ms. Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards). Who knew the prim and proper lady was a goth girl who thought that dismantling the man might be a good idea when she was in college. During Felicity’s senior year of college she developed a super-virus to help her and her “Hacktivist” pals take down the government. But all too quickly her then boyfriend Cooper (Nolan Gerard Funk), uses the super-virus to wipe out the student loan debt of a few thousand folks before Felcity shuts it down. She does so, all to save Cooper from being caught, but alas he was and he ends up in jail and supposedly takes his life.
The plot was pretty predictable, many could tell that the person who brought Felicity’s super-virus to take over Starling City had to be (the still alive thanks to the NSA) Cooper aka Brother Eye. And even though that was disappointing, it was even more so that his sole reasoning for erecting the virus was to steal money. Regardless, it was nice to see Felicity in the spotlight and kicking butt (mentally and physically). And I quite enjoyed seeing Charlotte Ross who plays Felicity’s mom, Donna Smoak on my TV screen again.
Up this week on Arrow, season 3, episode 6, “Guilty,”
Ted Grant is accused of murder when a body is found strung up in the Wildcat gym. In flashbacks, Maseo asks Tatsu to help jog Oliver’s memory so he can remember where an informant for China White stashed key information; and Roy shares a secret with Felicity. (via TV Guide)
I’m excited for “Guilty” because we will get some more screen time with Roy Harper (Colton Haynes) who is having dreams that he killed Sara Lance/Canary. And it looks like we might get some development for Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy) who looks like a future Canary of some sort. In the below preview clip, we see Arrow (Stephen Amell) in his quest to find Emilo Ortega come face-to-face with Ted Grant (J.R. Ramirez), Laurel’s new confidant and trainer.
