A sneak peek into Gotham Season 1, Episode 7 airing tonight on Fox at 8/7c.
Last week’s Gotham episode 6, “Spirit of the Goat“ left many of us disappointed. It was a glorious, dark episode and provided a back story for Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue), but failed to thrill us as previous episodes have. Now season 1, episode 7, “Penguin’s Umbrella” is up and I am all kinds of excited. I am a huge fan of Robin Lord Taylor’s portrayal of Oswald Cobblepot. I think he is doing an amazing job showing us the origin of Penguin.
“Penguin’s Umbrella” will show the fallout of James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) deciding to let Oswald Cobblepot/Penguin live, all while the turf war between Sal Maroni (David Zayas) and Carmine Falcone (John Doman) escalates. Episode 7 guest stars Parenthood and The Forgotten alum, Anthony Carrigan as Victor Zsasz. Victor Zsasz is a DC Comics serial killer, supervillian who carves the tallies of his kills on his person.
Here is a behind the scenes look at “Penguin’s Umbrella” discussing the resurgence of Oswald, followed by a promo introducing Victor Zasaz:
