VIDEO: Preview for ‘The Vampire Diaries’ S6, E4

October 23, 2014 By T.J. Leave a Comment

Season 6 of The Vampire Diaries  has been stellar. To see Bonnie Bennett (Kat Graham) get her magic back in Season 6, Episode 3, “Welcome to Paradise” was an absolute joy. But this season has also brought on a ton of questions.

Who the heck is Kai (Chris Wood), who is living in this groundhog day loop with Bonnie and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) in this alternate realm? Is Sarah (Gabrielle Walsh) related to the Salvatore’s or another founding family of Mystic Falls? Also, has Sarah ventured back into Mystic Falls which will now make her remember being attacked by Elena (Nina Dobrev) and compelled by Caroline (Candice Accola). Why the heck is Tripp (Colin Ferguson) so sadistic when it comes to killing vampires? Or better yet, will he kill Enzo (Michael Malarkey)?

Some of the above questions might be answered according the below episode synopsis from TV Guide:

Damon relives a horrible day in order to find his way home. Elsewhere, Alaric tries to help Jeremy cope with loss; Stefan teaches Elena about creating a new identity; and Tripp shares a dark secret with Matt.

Regardless, I am a happy camper when it comes to this season and I can’t wait to see more. Below is the trailer for Season 6, Episode 4, “Black Hole Sun” where we see Kai letting Bonnie and Damon know that their way out of this alternate realm will require Bonnie to use her magic. And we see that Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Elena are about to hit the open road.

What questions is Season 6 leaving you with? And what do you hope to learn in tonight’s episode of “Black Hole Sun”?
