I dread Mondays! To help me get through the day I look for funny items to make me laugh and help the day go by quicker. So I figured why not share some of the funny items I’ve come across on the Internet to maybe help make your day a little brighter. I apologize in advance for the time suck and cackling some of these funnies will create.
Funny 1
When I saw the below Vine from AlliCattt titled “how i feel when i wear glasses vs how i feel without them.” I probably watched the Vine about 50 times straight. I could not stop laughing and when I was finally able to drag myself away, I was hoping that AlliCattt would one day turn this 6 second masterpiece into a full length movie.
Funny 2
The Maze Runner Series by James Dashner is one of my favorite book series. When I found out that they were making the first book, The Maze Runner into a film I began stalking essentially every Maze Runner site that popped up. Luckily, I came across the blog ‘the maze runner daily‘! I found the below GIFset on their site and I look at it daily. It brings a smile to my face for a few reasons:
- Look at Ki Hong Lee‘s face. He’s such a cutie, with dimples for days.
- He’s discussing my favorite character in the series, the one he portrays, ‘Minho‘.
- Ki Hong Lee makes a cute joke that the film is essentially about his character and honestly, it should be.
Funny 3
I came across the below trailer for the film Christian Mingle and just about fell off my chair. I totally thought it was a joke, but it’s a legit movie. Christian Mingle follows Gwyneth Hayden (Lacey Chabert) in her efforts to find a man. In this quest she fills out a profile on the dating website ChristianMingle.com. One slight problem, she really isn’t in touch with her Christian faith or she might not actually be a Christian at all. The film was written and directed by Corbin Bernsen, and once I was able to get over the shock of this and stop laughing that this was really a film, I may have convinced myself to go see it. It opens on October 10, but sadly it isn’t playing near me.
